Canoe Journeys is a tradition that started in 1989 with the Paddle to Seattle. It is an important custom that passes on cultural knowledge and reinforces the use of the usual and accustomed waterways guaranteed to the tribes in their treaties. The destination is different every year, and the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe is honored to host in 2025.
